With increasing traffic to my armoured vehicle website I have seen my Alexa rank drop by nearly 1 million. This is of course a good start. Though the rank it is at the moment is still high, there is still more that can be done to obtain or direct traffic to my website. Alexa essentially counts how many people visit my site who have their toolbar installed. Currently my military website ranks in at 3 million 300 hundred thousand from 4 million 400 thousand roughly. This project is one of my neglected projects as originally it was a college project however the base design, was exactly that, it needed improving and there are much better designs out there on the web rather than the one I created myself. You can see the design I created here, which I’ll be giving away soon enough. The new website looks fantastic and now it just about adding content which is fresh, unique, new and interesting.

One of my oldest projects to date which I still have going is armour.ws. I decided to create this website on the idea that I first liked ‘Armour Military’ grade weapons. Since then I have done near to no advertising and in-effect, it is the content on the site that is currently driving traffic to the website. The website is only pagerank 1, with quite a few pagerank 1 internals on some of the website, however seeing as I haven’t advertised it much, I am unsure how these article pages have gained pagerank at-all. My armour website has significantly increased in terms of traffic toward small advertising which I have solely done for free. It was consistently receiving 1,000 or so unique visitors per month however this has increased (In the month of February) by 900 more unique visitors. This may seem small because quite simply it is however if I can keep increasing traffic by say for example 700 every month the website should then rank highly in search engines due to intensive advertising and recognition as well as indite a nice stream of traffic which has come from a targeted specific market. – Which is mostly where I do my advertising. Fluid designs with vBulletin are great and all however I much prefer fixed designs/themes and I wanted to change the width of my vBulletin board with the standard theme as there respectfully are no real themes published yet that I would consider usable; especially for the genre or type of board I have running. My armour website (armour.ws) I have an armour website which I setup along time ago and I wrote some articles on particular armour however then work related issues took over my life and I never really completed the website.
